In one computer, which normally autostart at 19PM and autoshut down at 08AM the day after, I setted, only for the past Monday, a day of week override of this type: 22:15-23:55 But nothing happened: as the computer started, also BM started. What's wrong ? Is this a fault of mine or .... ?? In that computer I'm using 6.6.37 64b version

I'll wait till the actual Seti CPU WUs will finish

This box is attached to GPUGRID, Seti and SetiBeta. GPUGRID is OK. It has only CUDA WU. Seti and SetiBeta: I marked (in primary, home and work preferencies) : - Seti@Home Enhanced : yes - Astropulse : no - Astropulse V5 : no - No work from other application - use GPU if available : yes - Use CPU : no But I continue to recieve Seti not CUDA WUs. Is it correct ?? Is it possible to recieve only CUDA WUs. Is this a Boinc problem, or a Seti problem ?? Or is ...... my problem ??? This box is AMD 5200+ with WIn XP 64b BM 64b 6.3.38 I searched in the forum, but I haven't seen anything dealing this situation

I think you must add another section: Active Tasks Set This section is at the bottom of the file. After that section there is also other general information I think the next step may be the brute list of all the parameters. I haven't yet worked with Wiki, may be this is the first time I use it. By the way, I have a big problem: I'm not so fluently with english, I'm italian My specific interest was for : duration correction factor short/long term debt

12) Message boards : Promotion : Considerations about the future of BOINC GPU platform Message 22962 Posted 9 Feb 2009 by zioriga	I’m a little confused about the future of the BOINC GPU platform: I mean the problem of supporting NVidia and/or ATI and/or the future S3 cards. The initial development was for NVidia cards and ATI cards couldn’t attach to gpu projects. Now there is a first ATI project (Milkyway – see http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/forum_thread.php?id=551#9716 and http://www.zslip.com/) and NVidia gpu powered computers cannot attach. Is this the future of the GPU BOINC computing ???? 2, or more, worlds that cannot cooperate ????? or, worst, that compete one against the other ??? or the program developer must write a more than geometrical progression (CPU, OS, GPU) program versions ????? I don’t think this is the spirit of the BOINC platform !! As much as I know, and I can be wrong, there is a gpu common platform: opencl which is supported from both Nvidia and ATI. May be this the correct answer to this prolification, at least, of different gpu constructors ????? Is this platform supported by BOINC ??? And/or can BOINC force the use of a common gpu software platform ??? I think the Science will be very gratefull for this simplification.

And consequently all the projects will be developed in a common standard ??? The actual situation I think it isn't OK. Developing only for NVidia means lose about half of the total computing power

Also check your numbers for your offending computer at the projects that won't DL new work. They have been known to get way out of whack and prevent new work from downloading. These are mine for my Core2 at Seti. % of time BOINC client is running 99.1804 % While BOINC running, % of time work is allowed 99.8513 % Average CPU efficiency 0.957079 Result duration correction factor 0.528213 Excuse me but I don't know where search for those data. I can say also that is only from few days (may be 4 or 5) that I have this behaviour

Now is running only QMC@home with 2 hours to completion and a deadline of 17 november 2006 My other computers are working fine: only this has this behaviour (is an AMD 2700+. the other ones are AMD 3000+, AMD 1800+ and Centrino 1600.

I tryied to "Update" all the other projects but the most frequest reply is 03/11/2006 16.13.46\|SETI@home\|Sending scheduler request: Requested by user 03/11/2006 16.13.46\|SETI@home\|(not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks) 03/11/2006 16.13.51\|SETI@home\|Scheduler RPC succeeded [server version 507] I know that the only way to receive new WUs is to Update, but this seems not working! Is there anyone who know the reason ?? Thanks in advance
