By the way, the problem is not with Seti with regards to a task running while the computer is in use; it is an apparent bug with Bionic. But the post I refer to above is a fix that worked for me. I did not know that it was an "abandoned" version. Consequently, I uninstalled it, deleted the folder and installed 5.4.11. I’m still having the same problem and will create the xml file as you suggested. I’m wondering, I have the program set to NOT start up when Windows starts, opting instead to start it manually. Does this come in to play as far as this particular preference setting goes? Again, thanks for the reply.

Bionic seems to not adhere to preferences. Right now I have my preferences set to do work only after computer is idle for 10 minutes, but it runs continuously. If I cannot remedy this, I will have to uninstall.
