1) Message boards : BOINC client : not currently connected to a BOINC client (Message 8104) Posted 9 Feb 2007 by Ted Blumenschein Post: when I try to attache a project i get a message saying that i'm no currently connected to a BOINC client, and to go to "advanced/select computer" to connect to a BOINC client. When I do this I used "localhost" but I get another message that the password is incorrect. How can I fix this?

2) Message boards : BOINC Manager : installing BOINC 4.45 problem (Message 477) Posted 21 Sep 2005 by Ted Blumenschein Post: When I attempt to install BOINC 4.45 I get a message that tells me that there is another installation in progress and that I have to quit that one before I can install BOINC. Yet there is no other intallation in progress, and I can install other programs with no problem. Is there something in the BOINC install program that's causing this or is it something to do with my computer (PC, windows XP)
