Back of my envelope give about 7kVA.
Not really a lot, that's less than the HVCA load presented by ONE Eurostar coach (33kW at peak cooling at a power factor of 0.9).
Now, what's the volume of a Eurostar coach - 2.5m x 2.5m x 17.7m (44.2m^2) - how does that compare with the volume of your place?
You misunderstand, my AC is not drawing that. that's the total power coming into the house. The AC is only 1.5kVA. Most is computers.

It's 33.3C on my balcony - in the shade.
I don't have a thermometer outside, but the garage is 37C, that's with the side door and two windows open, and two powerful fans blowing into it. Ok, there are 6 computers running in there...[1]. The house is 32C, with the air conditioning running! I get a lot of solar gain from the conservatory, even though I've painted the roof white instead of it being clear! There's a desk fan sat next to me, and I keep spraying the parrots with water from the fridge.

[1] Is 28.7A at 246V quite a lot for continuous power draw? :-)

Agreed, I liked their insults. Pity in school we weren't taught what thee, thy, thou, etc meant before trying to understand the plays.

Sheeple is a valid description of 99% of the population. They follow everyone else, they can't think for themselves. "Why are you doing that?" "Because the regulations say so." "Do you know why it has to be done like that?" "No idea."

It may or may not be true that the general population hates the government. The survey was about the risks as perceived by law enforcement representatives. Whether you think this is accurate depends to some extent on whether those surveyed count all the mass shootings as terrorist events or as actions of those who are mentally ill. (My own impression from over here is a mixture of both. but if I lived there I might possibly have a different view.)
From observing what people tend to say on the internet, I'd hazard a guess as 90% hate the government. And yet they keep on voting for them.

In surveys conducted in 2014 and 2015, representatives of law enforcement ranked the risk of terrorism from the sovereign citizen movement higher than the risk from any other group, including Islamic extremists, militias, racists, and neo-Nazis
Indeed, the general population hates the government.

I've yet to see any of our conclusions that is anything other than driven by total selfishness and abhorrence of anyone who disagrees with you.
Can I assume you meant "your" not "our"? That would make your comment more logical. And no, I'm not disagreeing with you on purpose, I'm making a point and stating my view and a lot of sheeple disagree with those points.

You might possibly convinced the masses.

But you certainly will not convince those that make their conclusions from the facts.
But they draw the wrong conclusions. There's no need to be afraid of a tiny minority who might kill you. Those people are going to do so anyway, prison sentence looming or not. It's high time everyone grew a pair of cohones and looked after themselves instead of expecting the government to treat us with cotton wool. Leave the nest, look after yourself.

If that's how you look at life go on, I dare you, emigrate to Texas where there is virtually zero personal taxation.
Well everyone I know in Texas (about 4) loves it. Why should I pay for my neighbour to educate his kids? He chose to have them, I chose not to.

Remove all that nonsense and have ONE tax. Income tax. Less paperwork and therefore less cost to collect. Easier for everyone, and can be made as fair as you want it with different tax bands.
Because it would raise total 'income tax' to an average of ~70% overall on every pound earned.

Greater if there is to be an 'income allowance' and maybe smaller, if you could get all the rich people to stay and not use loopholes, their very good accountants know of, like mine, an ex-tax inspector, to pay their full share. As Pink Floyd put it in Money "I'm alright, Jack, keep your hands off of my stack "
So what if it's 70%? Those people could buy goods cheaper because of no VAT etc. Nobody would be worse off. And the government has less paperwork to do. And so do companies, only paying income tax and not business tax and messing around with VAT.

Anyway, taxes are too high, the government throws money at everything and it has to stop. Start making people pay for what they use.

Pay the government a sum of money for every bug in your program?
Every programmer would go bankrupt. Why is it nowadays stuff is released with thousands and thousands of errors? Do it properly in the first place, test it extensively in house, but stop giving us users a headache!

Your family might want to have some closure on that.
It doesn't help them unless it's a huge fine and they get the money. Sharia Law allows for this, Western screwed up law does not.

Someone walks in, shoots and kills you and gets away with it, as he's an adult and made his own decision to shoot and kill you. Because rules and regulations are only for schoolchildren.
When I'm dead, would I really care if he went to jail or not?

But Peter, you are lying in the road, unable to move and not going to get even half decent medical attention for some considerable time (if you are "lucky"). So how are you going to get your retaliation in?
Isn't far better to have a rule set that makes it all but impossible for your neighbour to get those explosives in the first place? This protecting YOU from the actions (intentional or otherwise) of someone else.
No, because those protections would stop me from doing it to him. Why do you live in fear of people? There really aren't that many folk who want to blow you up. And most will only do so if you annoy them. Get on with your neighbours.

I used your ignorant excuses to show how your ideas could lead to YOU being harmed. That is YOU being nearly killed, YOU not getting medical attention, YOU loosing your house. All because someone else does exactly what you want to. YOU can't hide from the outcome of YOUR beliefs.

Yeh, sure rules are for school kids. Remember in my example you neighbour was living by your standards and YOU were the victim. Now, do you want rules to protect you from such actions?
No, allowing me to seek revenge is fine. I can look after myself, because as I said I'm not a child. "the right and responsibility of the individual to defend themselves as needed without fear of government reprisal for so doing" https://scottishlibertarians.com/policies/

So your neighbour buys a quantity of illegal explosives from some place they shouldn't buy stuff from, brings it into the country and blows your house up, leaving you and your family with no home but some pretty serious injuries. Then you find there's no health service and you have to find the money to get the medical attention that all of you urgently require. And that would be OK with you....
This is your dream of Eutopia, but it is so flawed and I somehow think you would be less than happy with the situation.
Why would it matter if those explosives came from the UK or outside it? And I should be free to blow up my neighbour if he deserves it. I don't want looking after by the government, I want us all to be treated like adults and make our own decisions. Rules and regulations are for schoolkids.

Because too many of my fellow countrymen voted to leave the EU.
I voted to leave, so we wouldn't be bound by stupid laws like daytime running lights and lower power vacuum cleaners

Anyway, that's nothing to do with why there's import tax. Why should France collect money when I send something there, then UK collects money when they send to me?

*think of a customs duty as a user fee, user of the inspection of a good crossing the border to be sure it is not a prohibited item being smuggled.
I don't care if prohibited items come in. Free trade, stop blocking stuff. If I want to buy powerful drugs from Mexico, that's my business.
