Since he can not login to Climate@Home he can not enter a new or reply to an existing forum entry, Just like this system. Its to bad that you can not spare a little time to assist a fellow boincer. Its no wonder that we get frustrated with this kind of rely, when you gurus give pre-made answers and/or assume we know more than we do. If we did we wouldn't be looking for assistance. I believe if Jacob had thought about this problem he would have came to the same conclusion that I did. Try setting up another new account with a different email address so that you can enter a notice into the form and once the password/email is corrected. delete the new account and follow the procedure for forgot password for the old account.

This way you do not need to worry about file transfers etc. Run straiaght boinc on the non intel macs. Thus you can set what projects run on which computer.

It seems to work only for heavy cpu usage WUs. Non-CPU intensive WUs are not considered when local preferences are set to maintain 1 days work load and an extra .1 workload. Only one NON-CPU intensive WU is downloaded. IS this normal? A lot of work is not accomplished this way. What is looks like that only one NON-Cpu intensive WUs per project is allowed at a time regardless of network availability.

31) Message boards : Questions and problems : Boinc 7.0.28 and avast antivirus (Message 44669) Posted 30 Jun 2012 by idahofisherman Post: I had to turn the avast antivirus program off in order to get BOINC 7.0.30 to install on a VIsta machine. I keep getting install program interrupted before it was installed message. I run macafee on another vista device and BOINC 7.0.30 installed okay. No problems installing on XP machines with various anti virus programs.

Since we can't ask questions there is there someone out there who can tell us the truth. Is this project even viable any more? Should we delete all the projects that are waiting or what? Sometimes we volunteers feel used and abuse as we get very little info about the project and the true nature of what is going on. I don't mind volunteering, but would like to be treated as a human not a computer. Thanks for listening.
