I started 20 years ago with this modest project: Seti @ home, When I did not use my computer, I had an animation like screenserver. A nice animated graphic against a few kiloflops. Today some graphics are displayed (not often) and the fan of the machine blows as if he had pneumonia. Boinc takes all the resources he can and ... in return: nothing. I will not even talk about Word Community Grid animations that do not reach the craziest cartoon of the 1970s. If you want something, give us something in exchange.
