Thank you for the advice.

After some fiddling around, I managed to get on to the Beta programme for BOINC. (I think I didn't have the Beta option in Google Play in Windows, but I managed to find it on my Android mobile device, or vice-versa.) I can't find a new version to download on my mobile device, but I did manage to find and install version 7.14.1 on BlueStacks 3, which suggests to me that my mobile device is probably too old (in terms of Android version) to run the new Beta BOINC.

I then tried the 'Add project by URL' option on version 7.14.1 under BlueStacks, but I was unable to connect. Presumably this is failing since I am actually trying to connect to a BOINC account manager rather than a project.

As a result, I think I am now at a dead end, short of building my own version of BOINC from the source code, which looks complicated.

I don't think I have that option; is 7.14.1 an Android BOINC version? I have 7.4.53, which is the latest according to https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php.

Yes, I am indeed trying to set it up for Gridcoin. Unfortunately, the instructions no longer work - please see the notes posted by someone else also having the same problem at https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/topic/113816-android-support/.

I am trying to get the Android BOINC App to connect to an account manager which isn't one of the three listed in the drop down menu. Is there some way I can do this, or if not, please may I request this as a change for the next released version?

It works fine in the Windows version.
