How do I change the resource share for a project? They're all set to 100 and I want to cut back some projects that are hogging resources. I'm running BOINC Manager 7.9.3 on Ubuntu 18.04.

5) Message boards : BOINC Manager : boincmgr crashing (Message 89553) Posted 11 Jan 2019 by zardon409 Post: Yeah, from the command line, it was exiting with a 255 return code. Did some snooping and found that there was a lock file starting with"BOINC Manager-" and username. It contained a pid. I deleted this file and voila, the boincmgr started up. It would be nice if boincmgr just told you another boincmgr is running instead of an error code that's not documented anywhere.

6) Message boards : BOINC Manager : boincmgr crashing (Message 89538) Posted 9 Jan 2019 by zardon409 Post: I run boincmgr 7.6.31 on Ubuntu 16.04 and after the last OS update, boincmgr just crashes. Where is the log file so that I can post the error messages?

7) Message boards : Questions and problems : Mac 7.14.2 installer never finishes (Message 89073) Posted 28 Nov 2018 by zardon409 Post: Force quitting is what I did. But I couldn't retry the installer because the old one must have left lock files because the installer wouldn't run again. And when I tried to restart the computer, the "fact" that the installer was still "running" stopped me from shutting the computer. Had to use the power button to shut down. Obviously, this install was never properly tested, and I'm not trying it again. I'm hoping that this aborted install hasn't screwed up my computer.

8) Message boards : Questions and problems : Mac 7.14.2 installer never finishes (Message 89069) Posted 28 Nov 2018 by zardon409 Post: The installer has been running approximately 30 minutes and is hung on "Running package scripts...". There's no way to terminate installer from what I can see. I'm on Mac OS Mojave 10.14.1.
