1) Message boards : BOINC client : Information Transfer and 2nd Project (Climate Prediction) (Message 4945) Posted 8 Jul 2006 by Ken Post: 1) I have had to start over again due to a hard drive failure, (no fault of Boinc). The project I am now running now appears to be connected to its local host perminently ie the lights on my NTL Broadband Modem are indicate that info transfer is happening continually. Dont remember this being the case prior to the hard drive change. 2) A second climate prediction project has been downloaded and sits there 'ready to run' Its going to wait a long time before it runs as the first project is only 1.776% complete. Any advise would be much appreciated.
