Seems everything got cleared. No more pending transfers. Any recommended projects I should add. PC is basically doing 1 task, sometimes 2 if networks behave. |

So now it's next day, there's 70-80 tasks in the "Transfers" tab from Asteroids@home, all finished with "upload: pending (project backoff: ###) for ### it's just time counting down, trying again and restarting counter over. pressing "Retry Now" does work (sets counters back to 8min+), but nothing really gets transferred. If this goes one for few more days, I might just as well hit "Abort Transfer" and call it wasted processing time. Definitely set Asteroids to not get any new tasks since I noticed the issue few days ago. Though WCG is working today, but CPDN still being marked as deferred. |

I left my new machine on overnight and it has a bunch of completed tasks, but all seem stuck in queue. I'm running Boinc Manager 8.0.2 on Ubuntu 24 Had projects from Asteroids@home running. all stuck with deferred communication. Added Milkyway@home, these are working fine, no issues. Added climateprediction.net, deferred communication. Added World Community Grid, deferred communication. I tried my other Win10 computer's BOINC manager (same V8.0.2), everything seems ok except the website. Both computers, when I click Project web pages "Home page" for Asteroids@home, the website fails to load. I tried the same website on my phone (off wifi, using mobile data), it loaded OK. Is it possible I've been blocked/banned for some reason ? |
