Ok, I posted about it here. https://www.reddit.com/r/BOINC/comments/4vj7gn/why_hasnt_someone_created_a_linux_distro/ As I do not currently use Linux, I am not posting on any disto boards. Maybe someone who uses Linux would like to recommend an out of the box BOINC installation to their distro. |

Wouldn't it be amazing if BOINC came with your OS even as an optional install? I have already contacted Apple. I'm in the process of looking up contact information for Microsoft and Linux distros. |

Well, it's off. I sent my letters to elected officials recommending that we put BOINC on government computers. I'll keep you posted as to how it goes. |

I’m planning on stopping by my local public library to show them BOINC. Has anyone tried that? Libraries with computer banks for the public should have a lot of idle cycles for BOINC. |
