Using a not-the-latest-and-greatest computer (and an analog modem connection), it would be really really great if people could add a section "system requirements" on their main page. It is very annoying when I become interested in a project and find out only much later that my computer and/or modem is too slow.

I know this has nothing to do with you. But it would be nice if you could encourage the maintainers of all the project's web pages to include this information.

Simply by having one lockfile per WU, for example. Or you could run one manager capable of spreading WU other machine(s).

How do other people do this? I can't believe I am the only one with more than one machine at home willing to run boinc.

I have a small network (2 linux computers) sharing their /home directory. I can run boinc on either one or the other, but not both. Yet that seems a logical thing to do when both computers are switched on.

How do I do this?
