1) Message boards : BOINC client : System connect problem when changing BOINC directories (Message 15849)

Post:
I wanted to change the hard drive on which Boinc is installed, so I uninstalled Boinc, moved its directory, then reinstalled it to the new directory location. Ever since then I have been getting System Connect errors such as:

13-Mar-2008 09:59:49 [---] Account manager error: system connect
13-Mar-2008 10:00:51 [Einstein@Home] Scheduler request failed: Couldn't connect to server
13-Mar-2008 10:01:35 [SETI@home] Temporarily failed upload of 01ap07aa.23466.4162.10.7.65_1_0: system connect
13-Mar-2008 10:01:36 [---] Access to reference site failed - check network connection or proxy configuration.

When I uninstall, move the directory back, and reinstall, everything works fine. I'm using Windows XP Pro SP2.

Can anyone suggest how I can move Boinc and keep everything working?
2) Message boards : BOINC Manager : A few feature requests (Message 4775)

I have a few requests for features for BOINC.

1. Allow ascending/descending sorting by clicking on the column headers - and remember the last sort used for each page when BOINC is loaded. If possible, allow sorting by several columns - e.g. on the Tasks page, it would be possible to sort first by project, then by deadline, then by percentage completed in reverse order.

2. In the "All Projects (Sum) graph, add a (preferably optional) line showing the sum of all projects. Allow user-selected colours for graph lines.

3. Bring back the pie charts for disk space usage: Total disk space (BOINC, non-BOINC and free space), and each project's usage of the total available BOINC disk space.

4. On the Projects tab, add an extra line at the bottom that sums the Work Done and Average Work Done columns.

5. Add an "Update All Projects" command, or restore the effect that selecting "Retry Communications" would cause all projects to update.

6. Update the screen saver so that it will run in preview mode - and can optionally show different work units' graphics on different monitors - if the PC has multiple monitors and CPUs.
Preview mode is important for multiple-monitor PCs - several screen savers running in preview mode can be made to appear on different monitors, while non-preview-capable screensavers such as BOINC's can only run by themselves.
