Posted 20 Jan 2020 by Tamarin Tracker Post: Well, Boinc just came out with a new version so I downloaded and installed it and now it connected to the local host for a moment then disconnected and now will not reconnect. I guess that Boinc is just not going to run on this machine. Time to uninstall and clear it out of the registry. Thanks for everybodies thoughts. |

Local host connection, NOT

Posted 30 Oct 2019 by Tamarin Tracker Post: Running a Dell laptop with an I5 processor and Win 10 Home Download BOINC, attempt to run and message displayed is client disconnected 3 times in the last two minutes and further attempts with the same result. This is a new computer replacing another Dell laptop running BOINC with Seti and no problems loading or running. All help is appreciated. |

Can’t connect to localhost

Posted 27 Oct 2019 by Tamarin Tracker Post: I have installed BOINC on an Inspiron I5 machine but cannot not connect to a local host as it states that it has tried three times and is disconnected and asks if I want to try again. Any suggestions? Running Win 10. |
