BOINC 5.4.9 is released

Posted 28 May 2006 by DeathCom Post: I just updated to 5.4.9 and didnt have any issues. Just wrote right over the old installation. However, can someone tell me what the "snooze" does exactly? And how long it lasts? Previously, when I wanted to do something with my PC that needed every last cycle I just right clicked the icon and hit suspend. Now it seems snooze does the same thing, but it seems to just come out of it after a time (not exactly sure how long). Suspend is still available from the activity menu, but that means I gotta open the client to set that. It'd be great if snooze had an option for how long, or just worked like suspend (manual resume). I figure this was added because people would forget boinc was suspended. So on that note I agree, the icon should go black and white or something when its suspended. -DeathCom |
