2) Message boards : News : Client version 7.10.2 released (Message 86332) Posted 28 May 2018 by toTOW Post: I think there's something wrong with the installation package : I upgraded the 64 bits version from 7.8.3 to 7.10.2 on 4 machines, 3 had no issues (they're all upgraded to Windows 10 1803), but I can't upgrade on one of them. I don't know if there's a link, but this machine didn't upgrade to 1803 so it's still using Windows 10 1709 ... The downloaded package successfully decompresses the installer package, asks for installation options (folders and so on), uninstall previous version, but when it comes to install the new one, it complains that it can find the installer package (BOINC.msi) and prompt for manual selection. When I select the package, it claims that it's not a valid installer package and refuses to continue. I had to revert this machine to 7.8.3 which "repaired" installation fine.
