3) Message boards : Questions and problems : On Xubuntu 22.04, i cannot join a BOINC project (Message 111677) Posted 27 Apr 2023 by JFMMF Post: I have the same problem on Ubuntu 22.04 and Boinc 7.18.1 + dfsg-4, I get the following information Failed to start "Boinc Manager" failed to go to directory /var/lib/boincclient Permission denied. I followed both instructions and it didn't work.
