I do see that I am still transmitting data to Set and when I look at computer usage, I see evidence of the same. I have tried all the usual means of deleting programs.

Are you sure you didn't set a preference in the bookmarks or favorites in your browser(s) to check for new updates of the Set site?

I have printed off this exchange as I am certain that it may prove useful. I have also captured earlier communications. Enjoy and please answer but not on this board. I will require an answer directed to me. Preferably in hard copy.

Not sure this is you in CPDN, Celeron 2.66, OK you detached twice and reattached twice, so your original Model is gone, due to the detachment, the three that you have downloaded have errored out, i would suspect because you have been aborting them.... So at present you should have zero models running....

I have BoincView beta release: 1.3.0 beta 3, running on my laptop and my P4 3.0 and have no problems, My Boinc client is 5.4.0.
As you can see below the last official Boinc client listed as compatible was 5.2.x.
If you are running an older Boinc client you may want to upgrade.....

You can add and delete columns if you right click on the header.

Current version: 1.2.2 - for use with official BOINC client 5.2.x and above
Current beta release: 1.3.0 beta 3 - fully functional with BOINC clients 5.2.x and above
