Ok, I'll detach from the Rosetta and CPDN project, but what about the others? Tasks are downloaded but then they fail. Could you also recommend some low-requirement projects? I can't seem to find requirements listed on their websites. |

Hi, I've just installed boinc-client on a small GPU-less Debian home server. I manage boinc-client with boinctui. I have connected to several projects (climateprediction.net, asteroids@home, rosetta@home, milkyway@home). The ones where I can download data (asteroids@home and milkyway@home) quickly turn to "DoneEr" status. boinctui also reports Exit status 13 and state 3 (compute error). Is this because the server lacks a GPU or is there another problem? Screenshot here: https://drive.filen.io/d/c3829a18-5fc0-4738-905d-15ec82394542#ZO716vy1smWN5A8wvzVHLuVKrQGC4Plm Not sure if related, but Rosetta@home specifically complains that it requires 3337Mb RAM and only 3008Mb are available, but the server has 2.5Gb RAM available and is otherwise idle. |
