1) Message boards : Android : Android client not working? (Message 111130) Posted 27 Feb 2023 by GPanther Post: Hello all, The Android BOINC App stopped working for me a couple of weeks ago (I'm not sure when this happened exactly, but I noticed it last week). The phone is a Pixel 6 Pro, with the latest update of Android 13 (I suspect that some update to the OS has caused the problem, because I remember having to restart the phone due to an OS update a couple of weeks ago). Anything that could be fixed here? FWIW, I initially had the version of the BOINC App from 2016 that is in the play store. Then later I noticed that the website has newer versions not available in the play store: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php - I also downloaded those and installed it on my phone, but it still just freezes at the startup screen (showing the BOINC logo). I'm happy to provide more debugging info if it helps. Why isn't the newest version in the Play store btw?
