Promoting - Gave Up I was going to Promote BOINC to a friend. Gave up. Your current (2023-11-29) Home Page (https://boinc.berkeley.edu) needlessly complixificated, is over-cluttered, bewildering, confusing, and immediately shoves incompressible 'science and research stuff' in our faces ... I'm an (almost) double-decade BOINCer - and you confused me. Simplify. Just a 'this is BOINC' paragraph, and a 'click here' to get started. All the other stuff >on the Home Page< is as useless as poop on drum. >>>Use links<<<. As for my friend? I'm giving her >only< the Wikipedia link, >without promo< from me. I like her way to much to shove your Home Page in her face. |
