I'm running Windows XP tablet on my laptop, and BOINC isn't working correctly. As soon as my screensaver comes up, it closes right away. If that isn't the case, the only screensaver that stays up is a little animated graphic that says "BOINC Manager is shutting down" It works fine on my desktop, which runs XP pro. Is BOINC supported on XP tablet?

I have some tablet pc's running at work, but none running BOINC. Tablet PC's (or laptops with the tablet pc O/S) have a lot of power saving options included to help save power. Sleep, hibernation, etc. When the screen saver kicks in and the client runs your processor up to 100%, it might be throttling the unit down to save power. Hence shutting down BOINC.

You might have to check into the power saving options in the O/S.

Plus does this happen only when on batteries? Or also when plugged in?

Let me know :)
