Last one before kitty bedtime...
I bookmarked this years ago, and am surprised it still exists.
Some cat in a bar after hours whacking the ol' '88s. Amazing.

Here is the official PTX site...
If you love voices as much as I love voices, this is a fine place to start.

I have loved the sound of voice, like, always.
Those of you who have been around the Seti joint know my past loves of Baez, Travers, the Chad Mitchell and other trios, some true, some not so.

Some sang in anger, some in pain, some in protest.
Some of the best protested against the Viet Nam conflict. They are some of my dearest voices.

I'll get along with some of you better when you try to remember where I came from. No, not kpax....LOL.
Midwestern Wisconsin, USA. Not a very well known bit of ground.
But, steadfast and hearty, we are.

I did travel a bit when I was very young. It was then that I met Joan Jett, and the course of my life and vision of it was forever changed.
We never crossed paths again, but her impact on my life was signed and sealed the moment I kissed her.
Yes, all bs aside, I did once, long ago, hold her and that's as far as I am going to go with the story for now. The rest is now between her and I.
Do ya wanna? Yeah, I did. The rest of the world can only wonder.

Simple things for simple minds.....imagination is a strange thingy.
And what my life has been about since has been about wondering. And I share that with you when I can.

My posts about life are at times, I know, unbelievable. As imagination can be.
And intermixed with that are real life studies in a time I lived in.
It's not my problem or intent that you should be able to sort the various realities that have become Mark Sattler.

Furthermore, I am not sure I would wish you to be able to.
For, my life is not dependent upon your perception of me.
It is dependent upon my perception of myself.
And after 57 years on the planet, a few years of Seti time may have thrown me a wobbly, but nothing I can't recover from at this point.
I hope some of you know and understand that.

A few trusted friends do. And you may know some of them.

Now it's gone to cats.

And once you learn enough about cats, you shall have more respect for me.
I is as cats does. I have a heart as big as a lion, and a growl to match.
But, pet me and I still shall purr always.
I may snarl, but seldom bite. And if I do, it's out of surprise rather than anger, you see....
You simply startled me.
My love is true, and never taken away by anger. Ask anybody who is my true friend. I don't think you shall find one that says I have denied my friendship over this difficult time for me. I certainly have not intended to do so.

I may draw back a bit, and retreat to what I consider a safe place. That is also what cats do......
And, when truly backed into a corner, it does no good to poke or pry at a kitty........some of you have not learned that lesson.
And I have lashed out at some because of that very reason.

Just give me my space, and kitty shall come out when she is damn well ready to...LOL.

People who love cats have some of the biggest hearts around. ~Susan Easterly

Our Cats, Ourselves ... From the New York Times "The Opinion Pages"

DAVIS, Calif. — IT’S commonplace to call our cats “pets.” But anyone sharing a cat’s household can tell you that, much as we might like to choose when they eat in the morning, or when they come inside for the night, cats are only partly domesticated.

-- snip --

Domestic cats are not just wildcats that tolerate humans in exchange for regular meals. They have smaller skulls in relation to their bodies compared with wildcats, and are known to congregate in colonies. But in comparison with dogs, cats have a narrower range of variation in size and form.

The most interesting parts are the 200+ Reader's comments example:
Deb Jasper, GA 4 days ago: "Dogs want to be “man’s best friend”; cats, not so much."

All's well here in kittyland.
Tigger II's ear infection seems to have stabilized with her eardrops, and she is getting back to her perky self again.
The kitties have the crunchers doing a good job at Einstein, just waiting for all that AP kibble to start flowing so they can do some Seti again.

And geez....
Finally sorted the browser problems I have been having for a couple of days.
It seems that the last update to the Seamonkey browser which I use broke the Flashblock add-on which I also use to work with mostly my Hydra visiting.
It was still blocking flash, but it would no longer give me the icon to proceed.
So all youtube vids were blocked cold, with no way to view them.
I rolled back Seamonkey from 2.31 to 2.30, and all is well again.
As Flashblock has not been updated for a long time, this could be a stopping point.

Cat survives 36 days in a moving box during Virginia family’s relocation to Hawaii

Read that......
Amazing, as most cats go into kidney failure a week or so into water deprevation.

Amazing things, tho, do happen with kitties.

For the night, or the day........
I have lost track and must get some sleep.

Before I go.......this is a kitty of a different sort.

I dissed her for years, and yet always came back to her.
K.D. Lang. Kitten deluxe. Always had a problem with her, but I have grown somewhat older and more tolerant now. And recognize that no matter who she sleeps with at night, her voice is amazing.
And that is what truly matters.

Though I sleep with kitties, some are not so blessed.

KD. Lang. God bless her.

I finally found, I think, the answer.

You all think I am scarred..
I never knew you were that simple.
Yes, I am scarred by life.
I cannot take that away.
Nor can you.

Ya see,I am a troublemaker too.
I don't be found unless I wish to be found.

Do you think I am a Hero???

I have nothing to lose.
And if you are smart, THAT really scares you.
