Here the discussion about Xeon Phi is dead, but, with the announce of new version (second half 2015), the question is: boinc will support this?
Intel revealed at this year’s show that the chip will use the Silvermont architecture, will be able to push out up to 3 teraflops of peak performance DP.
The initial models will feature more than 60 processing cores based on the company's Silvermont architecture

So, can run X86 code on this accelerator(not only OpenCl).
