Not requesting tasks: don't need

Below is just a portion of My Recent Event Log which shows some of these circumstances: But, it has been happening for a long time.
i have usually assumed that it's because of the Estimated Time of the Total Number of Tasks from All Projects. I have my Preferences Set to maximum for the Number of Days.
However, at the time I am typing this Message, I only have 2 Tasks Running in ConstellationAtHome, and one only has between 3 and 4 Hours Remaining (about 61 Percent Complete), and the othr has about 5 Hrs and 10 Minutes remaining (about 43.90 Percent Complete).
I realise that these Percentages and Times are only approximations, and that Tasks can take longer than expected; but when I don't have any Tasks Waiting to be Reported and don't have any Ready/Awaiting to Start, it doesn't seem to make any sense that I "Don't Need Any New Tasks" (Especially from other Projects).

Any Ideas why this is happening?
ps .. I have occasionally Manually Suspended All Projects one by one, and Resumed and Updated them one by one (doing the Project/s that have Running Task/s last of all), and I have sometimes received New Tasks from one or more (but not all). However, this does not always happen, and I get the "Not requesting tasks: don't need" Message in the Event Log.

You should have enough work for all projects vs. deadline so you cant get any new tasks until you finish some of them.

If you're getting that then your cache is full.

I have my Preferences Set to maximum for the Number of Days.

And what value is that? Setting it to the maximum is counter productive as many projects have deadlines less than that and you'll end up not getting work because it can't be completed in time,
And where have you set that? On a project website's computing preferences page, or locally in Boinc Manager?

Please restart Boinc, then post the Boinc startup from the Event log, the first 30 lines or so will do, then can you supply a set of logs with work_fetch_debug enabled.
