Upgraded to the lastest BOINC program this past weekend. Initially the system appeared to be working except for two of the computers running SETI. The statistic graph on the host both total and average appeared to have dropped all the previous data that has been completed while the user data appears to not reflect that lose. It now shows some completed data in the host section. The other two computers did not show this lost in the host section. Now the Task section and the Transfer section are being filled up due to not being able to transmit data to the data base. The message section show the statement "Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal sever error" in red. I see that there is some maintence being proformed on the project data base. Was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same issues. If not then I need to research into my own computers to see if that might be the problem. |

Everybody else and their dog have the same problem these days, so you have nothing to worry about (for now). [edit] At least SETI and Einstein are down currently, let's hope for the best. Metod ... |

Well, Seti is back up, as is Seti beta, but now everyone tries to upload/download/report, so it's a bit congested on there. May 30, 2006 At 13:30 UTC yesterday the SETI@home upload/download server failed. We've solved the problem, so you should be able to upload results and download new work at this time. There will probably be a long period where the servers are overloaded with backlogged requests. Thank you for your patience. |

Thank you for your update, and getting the system back up and working. I can only take the credits for the news update. :-) I don't work for Seti. I'm a humble volunteer cruncher as is everyone else around here. That I am a moderator here and on Seti doesn't mean I am working at the University of Berkeley, California. |
