When I open debian-6-boinc-server_trunk.vbox it loads to a black screen. http://i.imgur.com/H5pGZ49.jpg That's the last thing I see, then I get a black screen. What's going on? Running: Windows 7 64-bit Intel Core i5-2500K VirtualBox-4.3.10-93012-Win debian-6-boinc-server-130327 Also, note sure if this is relevant but the VmServer guide says "The OS is Debian 6 "Squeeze" (64-bit)" whereas mine is 32-bit, although it's from the package I downloaded on the VmServer page. It says "amd64" and I'm using an Intel chipset. Not sure if that matters either... |

The debian6-boinc-server_trunk is indeed 64 bit but if I remember correct at the time of installation there was no distinction between 32-bit and 64-bit Debian in VirtualBox. But this is just a categorization issue. I got my master version booted up correctly. I'm currently updating the VM to Debian 7 and latest BOINC sources. This will take some time to test and upload. |

So far the update and test was successful. I just have to upload it next week when I have a better connection. |

The new version was uploaded to the Berkeley server and is now available via the VmServer page. Please try this and report back if there are still some issues. |

"VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot." |

This is an easy to fix problem. Activate your VT-x/AMD-V acceleration in your BIOS settings, maybe this was the reason why the old one also didn't start. |

Activate your VT-x/AMD-V acceleration in your BIOS settings Before confusion arises, the Intel i5-2500K only has VT-x, which should be enabled in the BIOS. |

It turned out being "vt-d" and "Intel Virtualization". Got it running, thank you! |
