Hello all, i have a strange problem that has occurred, I am running seti and Einstein on 2 main PC's and a laptop using latest BOINC download, on my Samsung Note, I run the Boinc offering from Google Play, on all the pcs everything runs fine, work units download and upload sharing processor time on a 50/50 workload basis during the day, the same for the mobile BUT with the exception of seti, when i tried to get it to look for new work it stated that comms were deferred for 24 hours and appears to be in a persistent loop, given the fact that the android has 4 cores and allows me to complete workloads at speed i'm giving more processor time to einstein than seti, and that shouldn't be the case, any idea whether this is a seti bug or something deep within the BOINC android app? I can't seem to resolve it at all, tried resetting and reinstalling but to no avail. Running BOINC 7.2.8 on Android v 4.1.2 kernel 3.0.31-1071214 any help much appreciated as it's driving me mad! |

Seti hasn't released a Android app on Arm yet: Setiathome Applications An Android Arm app has only just gone on Seti Beta, if you want to test that app you'll have to join Seti Beta: Seti Beta Applications Claggy |

The BOINC d/l page is listing Android/ARM v7.2.7 as "recommended version" yet both Google Play & Amazon AppStore are pushing 7.2.9 only. 1. What is the "official" version? 2. Is the distribution chain for Android devices working correctly? B/w. |

What is the "official" version? Whichever version is latest available through the Google Play store. The developers are updating it quite regularly. More than they will the download pages. |
