I have the BBC climatechange model running as a service under XP, so it's running whether anyone's logged in or not. So far so good. But if two users are concurrently logged on (say Gary and John) and the user whose userid is later in the alphabet (John in the example) hits the 'Show Graphics' button in BOINC manager, the graphics actually appear in the other session - ie the session of the user with the userid that's alphabetically earlier in the alphbet (Gary, in the example). This is sooo annoying! Can't it be fixed to appear in the session of the user that requested it? |

Please post this in the CPDN (BBC CP) forums. I have, but was not sure whether this issue is with the BBC model, or the BOINC manager, hence posting in both. Are you saying that it's definitively an issue with the BBC model? |

To be honest, I am not sure. But at least on the CPDN forums, the developers of the CPDN/BBC CP programs can answer you quicker and in more detail. These forums are mostly used by other volunteers helping people out. The BOINC developers read it maybe once in a month. If even that. |
