Every ~5 days, my current run aborts with 'process got signal 27'. This is SIGPROF.

From 'man setitimer': Each
time the ITIMER_PROF timer expires, the SIGPROF signal
is delivered. Because this signal may interrupt in-
progress functions, programs using this timer must be
prepared to restart interrupted functions.

This happenes so often on this machine because it is an Alpha. On i386-machines, the time between these events is much longer.

However, it seems that BOINC does not handle this signal in the right way. It should not about the whole workunit.

This is a problem to at least BOINC 5.4.3.
