I prefer a G&T, could get used to them :-)

R&C, please. (Specifically, Captain and diet.) No lime.

Any day you see the flowers and not the roots is a good day.

Usually Magnolias flower about March

Many years ago, we had a mammoth Magnolia in the front yard, and while I can't remember exactly when it blossomed, I do know the flowers were huge; which reminds me... I knew a girl who had a Sunflower phobia.

Weird Canadians. A license for a cat?
http://www.ottawasun.com/2016/01/28/man-jailed-over-unpaid-cat-fine-surrenders

Not just Canada ... http://www.longbeach.gov/acs/pet-laws-and-licensing/cat-licensing-faqs/
Q: Why is the City making us license our cats?

Municipal law requires that all cats over the age of four months be licensed as a rabies control measure. Making sure your pet has its current license attached to its collar also is your best insurance of having your pet returned to you in case he or she becomes lost or gets out of your yard. The pet license also lets us know if your pet is currently vaccinated against rabies. The money received from pet license fees helps the department continue to provide quality animal care and control services 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

Effective Friday July 16th, 2010, all cats within the City of Long Beach are required to have an ANNUAL (12 Month) license, including permanent tag and/or microchip.

In a few hours I'd be happy to join in for one of those G&T's, and extra limes.

Down.

[edit]

We've had cat license laws for as long as I can remember. Don't know how strictly they're enforced.

The UK has never had cat licences, and we got rid of dog licences in 1987 as they said it was unfair to hard up pensioners. But since then we now have a major problem with illegal pit bull dogs.

Can't blame the dogs , sure you've seen the type of people that keep those animals as pets , make Vicky Pollard look like she's got a degree .
