Perhaps CRL will drop by and let us know when, er if, our stories will be back? |

My eyes are threatening to turn themselves off. So I think I'm going to let them. Night night everyone |

I was hoping to see some signs of life at Seti before I called it a night, but doesn't look like that will be the case. Now I'm just hoping whatever issue they are working on gets resolved, since they had a server crash recently. |

I just refreshed the main Seti page, they are de-fragmenting the database. Good to know it's just a maint. item they are working on. |

If I remember correctly, they defragged the database last time. Must not have been as deep and thorough I'm guessing. Or they had a lot of new transactions because of the failed drives on Georgem. Either way I don't think the schedulers and website will appear much before the end of the night local time. |

thanks for the defrag info update. I hope the seti team gets a good night's sleep and that tomorrow morning we can enjoy the long protracted recovery time :-) Good night to those going to bed (me too) |

Isn't a saga a long Scandinavian story? |

You don't think Seti's outage length can be the source for detailed stories for future men and women? |

Most certainly it will be. |

Every Wednesday morning I have breakfast at my local hostelry, while perusing the Seti@Home forums to catch up on posts since the outage Now the question is what am I going to read whilst enjoying my "traditional English breakfast" ? |

If it comes back, I will make a bunch of rude posts to keep you occupied. You haven't deleted anything of mine for a while now :D |

Hmmm, I see Seti logged me out, and I can't log back in. Also no message now on front page. But a blip in the database activity now ... so maybe soon ... |
