Yep. Maybe it because I really need the stuff behind the blast doors tonight at Frothy Tops. The stuff they keep suspended in liquid nitrogen to keep it stable.

Haven't had a worse day at work this lifetime. "Stress: The confusion created when one’s mind overrides the body’s basic desire to choke the living daylights out of some jerk who desperately deserves it."
<ed>non cuss version to keep Jord's stress down.

Haven't had a worse day at work this lifetime.

I'm sorry to hear that. One of my favorite escapes is watching an old Twilight Zone.

For the lack of anything better to post today's outrage is now @ the 14 hr mark, the question is will it set a record?
On a less joyful note I replaced an ethernet switch and can still only get 2 of 3 workstations online. I shall dig in deeper tomorrow as the cocktail hour is well underway and I learned many years ago to not screw around with computers when drinking.

Twilight Zone, that describes the day.

I forgot those, there are 3 things a man loses as he ages, hair, eyesight and I can't remember the 3rd.

Jord's pretty laid back today, seeing as it's Holly's birthday, we're glad we can celebrate another one.

Gave her her own Raspberry Pi 3B, with mini keyboard.

Ever tried packing a HDMI cable into gift wrapping paper? I managed, but with quite some stress at the time. :)

Is it anything like a settee? You have to twist as you turn it?

I don't remember seeing any warning that yesterday's/today's outage was expected to be longer than usual, so I'm guessing that something may have gone wrong during the routine work.

This is nowhere near the longest ever, I seem to recall that there have been some previous multi-day outages in the past.

Hopefully the staff have everything under control as much as possible, it's currently very early morning in California, not even 24 hours yet .

My backup project, Milkyway, is down at the moment. Looks like it's been down for a few hours.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOLLY!

...for yesterday :)

we're glad we can celebrate another one.
Awwwww :) and so are we.

At least you got it out of the way without popping your head in a ceiling fan or anything for some light relief... or is that not a party hat...? ;)

Holly thanks everyone who's congratulated her, and gives an A for effort to the person doing the multi-coloured congrats. :-D
