Excellent comment. Now how about castigating those who lack comprehension of the English language & when annoyed label people. It seems that some people are so bored with their life they seek the centre stage disparaging anyone that disagrees with their views.

Fighting for the correct use of the apostrophe, together with Weird Al Yankovic because of constant misuse of the apostrophe in "it's" when people whose mother language is a form of English mean the possessive form of it, thus its. But since the BBC does it as well these days, it's apparent that dinosaurs like me have the its form wrong.

I've been thinking of starting a grammar thread in Cafe Seti. The main reason I don't is that I don't trust anyone (including myself) not to flame others for their mistakes, even flagrant ones.
