I'm here to party and help in the howling later. I'm sorry you guys had such bad outages while I was gone. |

Last week was not a bad outage it was an epic outrage, worthy of historical note. |

Big earthquake near Jamaica. 7.7 Not sure if they felt it in Puerto Rico. First I hope all are safe and well, but I also hope all is good for our Aricebo . p.s. Thanks for the drink. I need some C vitamins, so I'll make mine a mimosa |

It's been down long enough to declare this to be a true outrage. |

First I hope all are safe and well, but I also hope all is good for our Aricebo .Caribbean earthquake of 7.7 triggers tsunami warnings suggests it's far enough away (other side of the Dominican Republic) not to be too damaging and the Tsunami shouldn't reach that high. Not good for the people and infrastructure of Puerto Rico, though - bang goes the power supply again, I expect. |

I came to check on things... Since I "forgot" that, yes, it's Tuesday. (And it's ~5:18 local, so it's longer than it used to be the last time I was a regular - last year.) https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/ |

We have gone into the grand mal status, those who feel like it should probably set their hair on fire or howl at the moon. |

I hope the Bloom County's Steve's hair burning sacrifice helps :-) How long as it been so far? 7 hours?? The announcement on the web page no longer gives an estimated length for the outage. The moon should be up soon, so I can get the kitties to howl then to help. |

SETI has been down now about 8 1/2 hours now. Moon is up but due to overcast weather here I can't see it but will howl in the general direction of where it is in the sky. I just heard my neighbors Beagles barking so I'm heading outside to see if they will join in the chorus with us. |

I'm back from baying / howling at where the moon would be.... But I see SETI is still down. Time for some drastic means so I'll set my hair on fire. |
