Depressing ...
I think the most depressing thing is probably that Eric gave in to pester-power and increased the per-device limits.

One would hope that the money raised for new drives will have an immediate and salutary effect on this project.
Otherwise, I suspect the natives will get even more restless.
Personally, I doubt it will solve many of the issues.
I just don't see a commitment to identify the issues and develop an action plan to address them.

When people give me estimates like that, I usually, halve the digits and increase the units of measurement up one.

That would be 4 days then.

It has been down about 4 1/2 hours ------27 more minutes and outrage monitoring starts.

Anyone seen or heard from our celebratory "good luck charm" Juan today?

I think it has been down long enough to be an outrage and soon it will become a grand mal outrage. Methinks it will take howling at the moon, setting hair on fire and the sacrifices by Richard and Juan to get through this.
Let the party begin. The first round is on me.

The 7hr mark has been passed and now we have the pleasure of a super grand mal outrage. Alas all we can do is howl at the moon.

It is 4:10 pm here in the Southern Midwest, weather is only in the 70's, so it's time to set some hair on fire while outside so as not to stink up the house and howling at the moon doing a sacrifice drink all at the same time.

Here is hopeing my neighbors don't think I am a lunatic by doing my part here.

Where is Juan I hope he's OK.
I shall set some hair on fire and howl at the moon as a protest of this extreme grand outrage.

Make sure you don't set fire to the whole of the South-West while you're out there...

Hi All. I`m OK just working late today.

Just arrived and ready to do my sacrifice... down to the outrage pub now. But my extra large WU cache is holding. LOL

Maybe a long outage will be good for the server so it isn't so "cranky" (like an Adelecent wolf howling at the moon?).

Since I just swapped cpus last night and I came home and baby was locked up. So I got "plenty" of stuff left :(

Yikes. This is to the point we may have to find a virgin and throw them into a volcano! I hear there is one - a volcano - available now.
