This really isn't good enough. The online game I currently play has an important update today and the servers will be down from 10:00 am EDT (7:00am PDT, 3:00pm BST) for several hours.

Why is Tuesday such a popular day for taking servers offline.

( I do actually know, you don't do important things on a Monday as people are still recovering form the weekend. Tuesday gives you the longest time to sort out problems before TGIF looms large ;-) )

No, same company (almost) different game, Fallout 76, and they never tell you when it will be back, just ASAP.

We got an early in the morning (for California) outage. They've been having issues lately, so I'll guess we will get a longer one today.
Should we start the outage with coffee and donuts or mimosas ??

. . With the outage starting 3 hours early I think straight into the mimosas. Though I am a Margarita man myself ...

. . I hate it when the outage starts early and catches me off balance.

I see an Aricebo file has been put in the splitter. I hope I get some of those WUs. Its been a while since we've had Aricebo data.

02ap19aa - this month. I think they arrive automatically when recording has finished, whether we're ready for them or not.

Well, today I had it planned so I would be away from the net doing a little driving for the company. Something about a lawn mower. But I didn't need the excitement of the police shutting down the freeway for a while. It is getting close to lunch time here on the left coast.

Predictions on the length of the outrage today?

It's been down long enough to have a party.

You know, I would swear those minions are on a repeat loop. They haven't stopped partying yet. :)

Yes, as of this post, the website is down. And the server page has a fair amount of the servers disabled.

If I am reading it right, some of the numbers were updated 7 hours ago.... :)

Can we officially call it a grand mall outrage yet?

Start howling at the moon and burning our hair??

It has now been 8 hours, so all ceremonies for outrage are now allowed.

I think I'll skip burning my own hair and just try the naked dancing under moonlight in a fairy circle... I could also combine that with howling hmmm.

It'll be a long outrage if you achieve the full moonlight howl. There's just the thinnest sliver of a New Moon showing here...
