It's now 10pm UTC and 2 machines are off, have been OOW for hours, the two windows boxes are within an hour or so of joining them. Both of my Windows boxes have had unwelcome and unsolicited M$ restarts in the period just before/around the time of the server going AWOL. Stephen :) I'm sure that emails to his berkeley.edu address are handled by the school, PM via seti no. There is the possibility someone has to make a physical visit to the colocation facility. Might take hours to get there and then procure any needed replacements parts and reload any backups etc. BTW, you can always PM and/or e-mail Dr. A, he would know the status as well.
