Interesting. My forays into the amateur radio world have all been UK based and I had never heard of the WouffHong. During my time in the forces I operated from both GB2RS AND VP1APC. The club call-sign where I learned was GM4AAF. Makes me want to get myself a nice little qrp rig again. - Could easily power one from a USB port.

They make nice little QRP software defined radios that have USB ports. IIRC the spinning star icon I have over at SETI was for a project to get a bunch for the undergraduates at Berkeley to learn signal processing. Ah, here https://blog.bliley.com/10-popular-sdrs-software-defined-radios-2018

We are at hour 4 of our outage. I'll start getting the snacks ready. The server status page notice says 3-4 hour weekly outage while the main seti page has a 5 hour weekly hour notice. 5 hours seems to be a more reasonable estimate, though I will put my betting money on a longer outage this week to fix more stuff and catch up on db purging.

It is obvious that they often add the 4 hr notice to the 5 hr notice for a easily justified 9 hr total. Starting a party seems to be appropriate to me.

Oh yes, people. My release into the wilds of
London has just been upgraded to imminent,
which means a proper keyboard to drone on
at you from, you lucky lucky lot and just
when someone said party too!

For those of you complaining about snow, how about 446 inches (11.3 meters) so far and more storms on the way.

Mt. Baker Ski Area is a ski resort in the northwest United States, located in Whatcom County, Washington, at the end of State Route 542. The base elevation is at 3,500 feet (1,067 m), while the peak of the resort is at 5,089 feet (1,551 m). It is about 10 miles (16 km) south of the 49th parallel, the international border with Canada.

The ski area is home to the world's greatest recorded snowfall in one season, 1,140 inches (95.0 ft; 29.0 m), recorded during the 1998–99 season. Mt. Baker also enjoys the unofficially highest average annual snowfall of any resort in the world, with 641 inches (53.4 ft; 16.3 m).[1][2][3]

The ski area is known for numerous challenging in-bounds routes and for the many backcountry opportunities that surround it. The backcountry is accessible from several chairlifts, and access is permitted from the resort following the Mt. Baker Ski Area backcountry policy.

Wow! I just got home and I'm surprised to see the outage is still happening! 12 hours... with the size of that last round we should be good for a little while...
