Any prediction on the outrage? How many for less than 10 hours? How many for more than 10 hours? Who has 8:15? Who has 7:45? Who has 8:45? We need a SETI pool! |

Yes, the winner should get a toaster. Speaking of toasters... http://www.gocomics.com/pluggers/2017/02/12 |

SSP doesn't show Centurion as offline - just twiddling his thumbs because of lack of data. And Guppi splitters remain out of service ...Yep you are right Jim, Centurion is still off line :-( I had heard that it needed a new OS, but not sure what is up with it now. I think they're just checking with BL that they've got their +/- signs right this time, after the two short test batches. |

5:17 on the wet side of the USA - that makes it very early and down for maintenance already - someone's up and functioning far too soon today. |

Valentine's day and the threat of a small scale massacre per-chance? |

WOW that is early and then some. Maybe someone is up because they have an observing run for their bread and butter astronomy job? |

5:17 14/02/2017 13:09:51 | SETI@home | Project is temporarily shut down for maintenanceis my earliest record here. on the wet side of the USA.Makes a change for the left side to be the wet side. Maybe they want to be in and out of the lab early, so they can all go out for a swim? |

I've never seen an outrage so early. Who gets the toaster? |

I take a "S.W.A.G." and say SETI will return sometime after 1900 Berkeley time (0300 UTC). |

I take a "S.W.A.G." and say SETI will return sometime after 1900 Berkeley time (0300 UTC). $sudo apt-get upgrade there are 100,000 packages to ... Do you wish to proceed (YES/no)? |

Gonna be a long, cold outrage for the kitties. Most or all of my GPUs had already run dry before it started. Hope they come back up in full swing later today. Meow! |

I'm not particularly bothered to be quite honest. If Seti won't give me any work I shall simply go and crunch meanwhile for another project. My Boinc total goes on increasing regardless, their loss my gain. and I get shed loads more credit elsewhere anyway. Nothing to get into a tizzwozz about. No tizzwozzing here. Just always prefer to have a full boat of Seti crunching. I do not see the need to go to other projects just to keep the computers busy. And I am not concerned with credit levels VS other projects. Seti be my binness. I'll just save a few kilowatt hours until they come back online. Besides, the Tuesday outages are when I generally take off to run some errands. Like today, I have to run over to Lori's and deliver some beautiful orange roses I got for her with a card for Valentine's day so she has them when she gets home from work tonight. |

And at this time of year maybe cheaper than turning the furnace up :-)) Last time I ran the numbers, my electricity on night rates was cheaper per BTU than fuel oil. Oil is down at present, but I am pretty sure it's still a bit cheaper for me to heat electrically. |

Since the RTS buffer is empty, methinks it is going to be a wild experience trying to get work when the outrage is over. |
