Now over 10 hrs, wonder if they've all gone home and forgotten us? ;-) THAT kind of record we don't need................ I am usually not home for the end of the outages, but I am home on the sick list today with a throat infection making it hard for me to talk or even swallow. I may have to retire for the night before with one ends, if it takes much longer. Meowie. |

Well, for those that read the home page, it now says the usual outrage will be 10 hours! |

What, maybe 1/3 of the way into the outrage? First time I'm been able to come up for air at work too! Inventory! |

What, maybe 1/3 of the way into the outrage? But my inventory tells stories! Yes it does! Some of them more than a page long. I actually think I'm getting ahead of the end of year. Al least until the blizzard of 1099's arrives. |

What, maybe 1/3 of the way into the outrage? Never had to worry about 1099's. Business owner's problem. Just had to deal with 1,000 individual part numbers, physically organized by part name. And just me running the parts department. Oh the horrors! Took two months to complete inventory whenever I wasn't answering the phone, taking orders, shipping/receiving, doing local field service calls and being the Help Desk. I have stories too! |

What, maybe 1/3 of the way into the outrage? My inventory is very different than most. It is all there all the time. Just some can't be sold, and some has already been sold. On occasion some gets repurchased or one will be swapped for another. What is it? Holes. And it has stories to tell, most mundane, but some exceptional. I know that 5 of them have a story that uses the phrase "Congressional Medal of Honor" another has a message on White House stationary from President Ronald Reagan. Is your inventory interesting? The 1099's aren't 1099-MISC after all we are a C Corp and a 501(c), they are the 1099-DIV, 1099-INT and 1099-B there will also be some form 1065(K-1)'s. All of it may require adjusting general journal entries and/or change cost basis. |

Oh, meowy outrage.......... The kitties got the caches filled back up pretty well after this weekend's splitter malaise, so hopefully the crunchers can keep going through most of our newly extended outrage time. Meow! |

Missed it :-( Been too busy attending to some business matters. Should be all done by lunchtime tomorrow & looking forward to spending time with relatives who've invited me to stay with them for the rest of the week. Haven't been to Fernlea Road since my uncle passed away 2 days before Xmas 95 :-( The changes in London since then... ...still say anything over the river is like entering a foreign country :-) |
