Methinks this one was over 8 1/2 hrs, another fine outrage. |

And ... we're back just as I predicted right at 5:30. |

Information on that here: David Anderson wrote: For about a month, the server has sporadically become extremely slow for web access, usually for an hour or two. |

And GPUGrid's brand new server dropped offline (for the second time) on Sunday morning. There seems to be a lot of it about - I hope David is keeping an open mind for possible common causes and hence common solutions for the entire BOINC community. |

Hope it's not another 'epic' outrage. My GPUs are tearing through their caches at a brisk pace, having nothing but Aerecibo shorties in stock. Meow! |

The servers get turned back on at 5:30 Pacific time for the last month. I nailed the prediction to the minute last week. |

Information on that here: Just an idle thought, as I saw the https route respond PDQ, the webserver, but it indicated the project was down. Wondering if some IPC buffers in the O/S or apache are getting full? Perhaps an update changed back to a default value? |

I would assume Mr. Murphy made an appearance with the OS upgrade. Phone calls to significant others are being told "don't wait up for dinner" |

Just hope it isn't, I'm sorry guys, the colo is closing for the night ... Yes it is time to get that front page message edited to a more truthful number of hours of downtime! |

Einstein is REALLY down, now... "Project Down for maintenance. Please check back in a few hours." - is what I get right now... π [EDIT:] Now, at this moment, I'm getting "Secure Connection Failed" Msg in FF... π "An error occurred during a connection to einsteinathome.org. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG" [EDIT 2:] Now it's "Server Not Found". π TL Have TARDIS, will travel... Come along K-9!
