Progress is being made, we've been upgraded to:
This site can’t be reached

setiathome.berkeley.edu took too long to respond.

That should mean that Jeff is at the colo knee-deep into it.
Hope the problem is not too thorny.

uploading is painfully slow.

When I tried, my project backoff time got astronomically bigger (that's double in today's exaggeration-feed from my brain to my keyboard people)

Do you always have to wait as long as indicated on the transfers tab, or will the server allow you to jump in earlier sometimes?

For uploads, you can click the 'Retry Now' button as often as you like - though beware RSI in your mouse finger, and boredom in other parts of your consiousness. There's no server limit.

The only limit which the server imposes is when requesting new work - that 5:03 backoff is enforced by the server too. (You can ask - but you'll get nothing - and be told to wait another 5:03 for your pains.)

I was clicking update. I will do what you said instead. Thank you! :)

That might wreak havoc with my exaggeration-feed...

Well, I guess they really didn't solve the issue today ... same as last night ...
except data-driven web pages remain up this time, atm...

The Milwaukee Brewers would be my home team, but nonetheless......
I congratulate the Cubs on their championship as well as their fans.
It's been a long time coming, and they deserve their due.

Congratulations, Cubs!!

Yeah, I'm a Rockies fan personally, but there's something pretty cool about seeing a 108 year streak broken. And they earned it, the hard way.

CUBS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was a bit worried they would blow it in the 10th inning with the rain delay.

I was at work, so I did not see or hear anything of the game.
But, there were one or two radios tuned in, and when they pulled it off, word spread quickly.
Pretty much everybody was all smiles about the Cubs. Even non-fans.

And I said this.......LOL.

Well, if the Cubs can win the World Series, now I KNOW that Trump can kick Clinton's arse.

And, as they like to say in Chicago, kids.........

Vote early.......and often. Nudge nudge, wink wink.

And just a comment for my naysayers, and they are growing in number, it seems........

I live a life of something out of a B movie.

Life is fine, and then all of a sudden, something creeps up on me. And attacks.

From where, I do not always know or understand.
And sometimes, it comes from within.
Which is quite a fright.

Kids, I have told this story many times, but some of you choose not to listen.

I am a manic depressive.
And I ask you to understand that. Not an easy task at times.

When you get up in the morning, what do you ask yourself?
Hmmm...tea or coffee?
My questions at times are more like.......
Do you really wanna get outta bed and face the world?
Or ditch it?

Most people, I suppose, and this is just conjecture, get up in the morning and have a somewhat clear path what their day is gonna be like.

Me, I never know. I never know until the moment that life unfolds what is in store for me. I never know.

And that, my friends, is called 'living in fear'.
Every day, every night.

I do not know what life holds in store for me.
I only know that it is my intention to sleep tonight and wake up in the morning ready to fight that good fight once again.

As I have for almost 60 years now.

I have built fire truck for the last 12 or so.
That has become my life's passion, and I do it very well.

If I have my say, the kitties by my side shall always bring me about, right my ship, and take me to a safe harbor.

I thank those that throughout, have understood, offered me safe harbor, and otherwise enabled me to continue my life's quest. They have saved me from myself so many times.

And I shall always try to forgive those who have not.

Meow for now,
Meow.

Out of curiosity, why does "We are completely uploaded and fine" - a relatively new addition - appear at that point in the log, where it patently isn't true?
