We're down ey, sure people on facebook haven't noticed:))) Quite an urge to express myself at times and with the kids away on camp, the only thing I have left is my computer and guitar, and some readings in 2 or 3 days...

Well Jord, it looks like the wolf pack have followed me over to here.

Ah, good that you owe up to that fact. I'll hold you responsible for the mess they make, mmmokay? ;-)

Well... short of splattering ourselves under a bus or some other get-out method... we're all stuck with getting more mature with every passing year... so be nice peoples :)

I must say... I have lost some of my best posts in exactly the same way as Chris has described - just as SETI has gone down *haunted expression* Chris clearly manages to retain an ability to construct sentences under such circumstances. I on the other hand tend to barge about the place yelling Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhh!

There's not a lot one can say in response to an aaargh - so I would like to commend him for being more articulate. :)

edit: Oh good grief! There I go again not saying hello :/ Hello everyone :)

I'm articulated every day...

...get's difficult sometimes trying to steer an oblong object 40 ft long into a round hole.

Stepping outside sometimes shows up either a further problem or a solution. anyone can construct, but making sense of what has been constructed, sometimes makes one cry or laugh.

We must all applaud Chris for giving us laughter. How about nominating him for a "Seti" Oscar?

Well, Seti is not the most important thing in my life by a long chalk. I have friends and family that mean considerably more to me. I'll have a well deserved early night.

That is exactly correct. I was composing a long 45 minute PM to a very good friend who is going through some very hard times in their family at the moment, and I was offering as much support as I could. I hit the send button, only to get a no-go. Perhaps it was my fault for not composing it in Word and saving it first.

Don't know about your preferred browser, but in mine if I immediately hit the back button I get the compose window back with the message. Simple to select it, copy and paste into any word processing program and hit save and wait for the project to come back.

KISS. Composing a 45 minute novelette? Anyone with any sense would use a word proc 1st then transfer the doc when ready.

Last week, I had the foresight to copy my long post before I hit Post and paste it into notepad. It's just a good idea on Tuesdays.

Hello everyone :)

'ello you :-)

I'll ask David to get a couple of all of these then:

Good idea, we might need them ;-)

I use Firefox Aurora beta, but I may not have immediately hit the back button as perhaps I should have done. Then again Annies solution is much more satisfying at the time ...

No, the better solution was to think...

...something that serious & with either family or friends, one does not rely on a forum that can disappear at any time. With "real" family & friends, there are much better ways to communicate & as you have often stated publicly, you have those means, so...

To repeat what has already been stated...

...pulling our legs for sure!

Well, nearly 5 1/2 hours so far.

Is Angela going to have to keep Eric out of bed again?

Or later, getting tired here after a 3 hour sleep last night, will finish my beer first and then see what the moment brings.
