Boinc-client 7.0.28 and uploading problem to http://worldcommunitygrid.org !

Hi all!!

My boinc-client don't send completed results to worldcommunitygrid.org

I upgrade to

boinc-client-7.0.28 Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing client

clear all result in

/var/db/boinc/projects
/var/db/boinc/slots

clear all config files exept global_prefs.xml, and make new connection to project

boinccmd --project_attach http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org 7963<<em>your_weak_account_key</em>>26f4e6

later (before) updating i use boinc-client-6.4.5_7 and don't have a problem!

And what do the good people at the World Community Grid forums say about it?

Can you also please post the contents of the global_prefs.xml file and if it exists the contents of the global_prefs_override.xml file?
Also check what your Network activity setting is set to.

I am overcoming this issue by simply going to my projects tab. Selecting "World Community Grid" and then clicking the "UPDATE" button. This seems to both clear out the Task tab of "ready to report" jobs and initiate transfer of jobs sitting on the Transfer Tab.

Your problem is different to Seal's, his host wouldn't Upload results World Community Grid Full Stop, yours aren't reporting, most likely because of your Cache settings:

Boinc 7 has a scheduler that works differently to the scheduler in Boinc 6, it will cache work totalling the Min and the Max Buffers, then wait the amount of work available to drop below the Min Buffer before asking again,
the solution is to have the 'Additional' Cache setting set to a very low value, then Boinc will ask more often.
