My computer crashed (perhaps caused by BOINC) and when I rebooted, BOINC manager could not connect to a client. It reported that the Client State XML file was corrupted, it also suggested running the chkdisk facility? I tried to repair using the BOINC software but it did not change the XML document

I ran Windows Chkdsk and , much to my suprise, it cured the problem

I like the easy problems.

congrats on fixing it, also norton disk doctor can fix these crash related corruption of the clientstate.xml files.
