Hi, I'm trying to get the config for my system in a manner that fits my needs.

I have 2 PC's runing 7.0.25, both W7 x64. I have Vbox 4.1.2 on them

I have CPDN with ~50 out standing WU's on one and ~90 on the other

In the 6.x software I had my CPDN share set to 0 and T4t set to 100. The connect about was set to 0.1 and Max Additional was set to 0.

I the behaviour I saw was that T4t would run and the CPDN.

in the 7.0.25, I was advised to swap the Minimum & Maximum numbers around and set CPDN to 100.

This doesn't give the behavour I desire though, the system no focus's on doing work for CPDN and forgoes T4t so I have to mess with it which is against the point of the scheduler.

Any advice?

I think you're confusing the share parameter with the cache parameters. You are supposed to swap the "connect" and "max additional" values (0.1 and 0 in your case).

I have minimium work buffer of 0 and Max additional work of 0.1

Before I had "connect" and "max additional" at 0.1 and 0.

In 7.0.25 are these equilivent?

I set CPDN back to 0, it still didn't seem to do what I expected.

It finshed T4t task but didn't get a new one.

Are you again speaking of the resource share, as the other preferences are common for all projects?

What happens if you set "connect" to 1 and "max additional" to 0.1?

And clear your local preferences, to be sure you are using the online ones.

In 7.0.25, 'connect' doesn't exist any more.

In the 7.0.25 manager its "Minimum Work Buffer" and "Max Additional Work Buffer"
CIC1=CC=C(C2=N[C@@H](CC(OC(C)(C)C)=O)C3=NN=C(C)N3C4=C2C(C)=C(C)S4)C=C1

I'll just nurse the work units though then until I clear all my CPND work units.

The scheduler doesn't seem to work the way I want in 7.0.25

Thanks for the sugestions.
