Thanks for the reply. You are correct, my processor does not have the FPU feature. I have successfully overclocked my U8350-3 phone with a custom kernel from 600mhz to 768mhz. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1668017 :) This should increase workunit processing time a little. Also, do you plan on a SETI@Home app?

Sometimes boinc client displays these message: "XXX doesn't support computers of the type arm-android-linux-gnu" . You dont worry. You can try to update project ('Update project' option in the context menu after long clicking at project item) to get new workunits. If problems will be repeating itself, you can detach and attach project again. Finally, you can reinstall BOINC installation (NativeClient->Reinstall boinc option).

Have been running nativeboinc on a quad core ODROID-x for a few days.
Just added a 2nd project and hey! I now have 5 concurrent tasks.

How does that work?

Simple, the WUProp task is a nci task (that means non computational/CPU intensive, ie it basically doesn't use the CPU much):

WUProp@home Applications

Made your link active, so people don't have to jump through hoops to look at it, in future just highlight the link, and click the URL Box.

Excellent reply claggy. Thanks

I did a bit of digging in the interim, added wuprop to a couple of Windows/Intel machines and came to the conclusion that you describe.
A very useful project for certain machines.

Are there any science projects like this? (wuprop isn't science [?] nor does it appear in the usual "Add projects" list?)

I've been processing Milkyway@Home on my Samsung Galaxy Tab, but what's odd, is when I try to connect my spare Motorola Droid to Milkyway@Home I get and error in the messages that says "Milkyway@Home doesn't support computers of the type arm-android-linux-gnu" Any ideas why it would work on the Galaxy Tab but not the Droid? They are both ARM processors.

Is it the Galaxy Tab 7' ? How long does it take for a Milkyway WU to compute? I have a WU that's been here for almost 48 hours and it hasn't reached 1%. CPU is running at 1400Mhz

Great app! --> http://nativeboinc.org/site/uncat/start

:)

But there is some difference in speed compared with some others of course. ;)

See this:
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=1208942088

And then, click on the computer-links to see the specs.

My "Samsung Galaxy Note II" is about 100 times slower, but it makes less noise and consumes less power, I assume... :)
