New machine, Win 7 Home Premium 64bit. I want to add in a cc.config file, which I have always put in Program Data\BOINC. But, guess what, no Program Data Folder. What to do, what to do. Any help? http://sciencesprings.wordpress.com http://facebook.com/sciencesprings |

It's there, it's just hidden. So either fill in the complete path in Windows Explorer, or show hidden files and folders in Windows 7. Oh, by the way, it's a cc_config.xml file, not a cc.config file. Underscore instead of dot. |

Jord- Thanks again for the help. You would think that I could learn something. This is my sixth Win7 machine. Every time I set one up I have gotten myself into the "Microsoft Shift to Simple" with the hidden file and file extension nonsense. They are just copying Apple, and, who knows why? Mac's, great machines, are still a tiny segment of the market. Not only did they do this sort of stuff, they wrecked Windows Media Player in WMP12, just eviscerated it, all in the name of simplicity. I am all set, running the new beast on twelve threads, with both graphics cards in action on tasks. Thanks again. http://sciencesprings.wordpress.com http://facebook.com/sciencesprings |

Jord- Just a note to let you know that everything is going well. CPU and GPU temps both about 60% of max when running flat out. I appreciate all of the help. http://sciencesprings.wordpress.com http://facebook.com/sciencesprings |
