Hello,

I am a new user to the BOINC community. I see there are many projects now, I have run WCG for a few months.

I am wondering are there projects that provide more information about what is accomplished with the calculations?

It would be great (for me, as an engineer) to understand more about what is going on and what the results are and what is the meaning of the results and applications, in real time if possible.

I would be likely to choose projects based significantly on these interests.

Are there projects that provide more information than others?

Thanks,
Steve

Some of the projects at WCG have pretty good feedback from the scientists. You should check their forums out.

I would say Einstein also, but nothing like real time.

After one run, which takes about one year, completes they need another year to make analysis of the complete data and publish their paper. The papers are available also over their homepage.
